Sunday in December, this year December 9, The Compassionate Friends Worldwide
Candle Lighting unites family and friends around the globe in lighting candles
for one hour to honor and remember children who have died at any age from any
cause. As candles are lit at 7 p.m. local time, hundreds of thousands of persons
commemorate and honor children in a way that transcends all ethnic, cultural,
religious, and political boundaries.The Worldwide Candle Lighting
is a gift from The Compassionate Friends to the bereavement community allowing
us all to join together in unity to remember and honor the memories of all
children so they may never be forgotten.

Unity, Anniversary, Memorial, Baptism, First Communion,
Confirmation, Birthday are all personalized to include a photo,
invitation, names & dates, a special verse or your own greeting.
I can also
create a "custom graphic" to match your theme or I can use your
graphic to customize your candle to your specifications to create a
unique, one of a kind gift for any occasion.
Personalized Custom
Designed Candle Description: These lovely keepsakes make treasured
and long-lasting gifts. Your photos are duplicated then embedded
using a patent pending technique. Names and Dates are imprinted. The
top of the pillar candle has a depression where a glass votive cup
rests. You burn votives to illuminate the pillar preserving it
forever! This extra wide pillar allows photos to be displayed
nicely. Both side of candles can be decorated, usually the
front has the photo, name, dates, and the reverse side has a special
verse.

When my father who was a
very special part of my family's life died in April 1998, I wanted
to create something in his honor and memory- something truly special
and unique. I designed the personalized photo candle below as a
memorial tribute to my father. On the front is my father's picture
with the inscription "In Loving Memory of Leonard L. Kalina," on the
reverse side of the candle is a special poem that was written by my
sister, Sue, in our fathers memory.
